DUBAI: Oman’s health ministry has announced the death of a third patient, a 41-year old expatriate, who had been suffering from coronavirus (Covid-19) disease.

The Omani government locked down Muscat for 12 days starting at 10 a.m. Friday, or until April 22, restricting movement to and from the capital to control the spread of the contagious disease.

Health officials confirmed 38 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, bringing the total to 457 including 109 recoveries.
